Born in Paris in 1932. Wanted to become a sculptor but instead studied architecture and then art. Became a graphic designer and in 1959, while working on a Rochas advertisement, was offered the opportunity to design a new bottle for Madame Rochas perfume. Head of ‘Atelier Dinand’ designer of contemporary bottles; has further studios in New York, Tokyo, Amsterdam and Moscow. Retired in 2001. |
