In 1999 51% sold to LVMH/Prada but still run by the daughters.

Presented in a three segment bottle outer parts in frosted fawn, inner part clear glass is banded with gold dividers, which incorporated the black cap and designed by Sorelle Fendi

In response to the appeal by women to Life Essence, fragrance was 'quietly metamorphosed' into a unisex edt with top notes of bergamot, cardamom, cedar and geranium, heart notes of coriander, bay and cypress on base notes of olive wood, labdanum and oak moss. Presented in a tall squared clear-cut bottle with domed beige top designed by Catherine Krunas.
