Gaultier Perfumerie, Jean-Paul
Jean-Paul Gaultier, born in Paris 24th April 1952. First joined Pierre Cardin as a design assistant in 1970, launched own range of ready-to-wear clothing in his own name in 1976; a fashion and perfumery house that is now partly owned by the Shiseido Group, with a 35% stake held by Hermes.
First perfume 'Jean Paul Gaultier' was launched in 1993.
In 2011 Puig Beauty & Fashion Group acquired a controlling 60 percent share of the company.
