William Henry Penhaligon born in Penzance
in 1948, a barber. Opens shop in Jermyn Street with Jeavons as partner.
Company fell apart after his death, revived in 1975 by Sheila Pickles.
Penhaligons do not advertise in the media, its products are given
a strong, traditional, high-quality image by the classic glass-stopperred
bottles and nostalgic labelling. In 1987 becomes part of Laura Ashley

it was originally created for a one-off Valentines Day gift but

floral heart notes on base notes of precious woods and amber. The pink
fragrance is presented in the traditional Penhaligons bottle with
a black label. Re- named in 2001 as (see below)
