| Established by Alexandra Balahoutis in 2000 in California; named for a line from Shakespeare’s Anthony and Cleopatra. She spent over 4 years studying the art of botanical perfumery; her line is made without the use of synthetic notes or fixatives; distils many of her own essences, mostly using organic materials, preferring to use hydro-distillation than steam distillation or chemical extraction. | ||||

Inspired by jazz vocalist Billie Holiday, who was known affectionately as Lady Day and who always performed with white gardenias in her hair. The fragrance has notes of gardenia, lemon verbena, blood orange, jasmine, and sandalwood. | |
