Created by François Coty assisted by Vincent Roubert, a soft classical floral aldehyde parfum with top notes of bergamot and citrus, heart notes of jasmine, rose and geranium with base notes of vanilla, musk, vetiver and civet classified B5f.
This was Coty’s reply to Chanel’s 'No 5'.

(Spirit of the times) (actually created on 23 october 1947) Created by Francis Fabron of Roure-Bertrand-DuPont , a classic floral parfum with top notes of bergamot, Sicilian lemon and rose wood, heart notes peach gardenia, carnation, jasmine de Grasse, rose de mai, ylang-ylang and orris on base notes of sandalwood, orris, cedar, benzoin, amber vanilla and musk, classified B3f.
Presented in the flaçon refered to as Soleil, being the first Lalique falcon designed by Marc Lalique and made by René Lalique et Cie., Utt # NR-110. Disc.

Presented in a flaçon reminiscent of earlier embossed designs, with a clear centre with honeysuckle-frosted leaves as a surround with a fanned leaf stopper designed by Marie-Claude Lalique.
Packaged in a turquoise box with gold script.
A new limited edition flaçon of the parfum issued each year.

Presented in a thick, glass, square flaçon, topped with a black square cap embedded with a replication of a Lalique sculpture, Masque de Femme (relief of a woman’s face) first created in 1935.
A chord with a pendant of the Masque de Femme is tied around the bottle’s neck and can also be worn as a necklace.
Launched in Galeries Lafayette in Paris in August and in Harrods (UK) in September
